Nine Lives
at Apple Orchard.
- Every player starts with 9 lives.
- The highest score in each foursome loses one life on each hole.
- More lives means a better overall finish.
- The top two overall leaders become afternoon captains.
AFTERNOON FORMAT
Three matches.
One team champion.
Captains split the field into Ole Miss and LSU, choose pairings after Orchard, and send each 2v2 group through three consecutive matches.
Scramble match
1 pointEach two-player side plays one scramble ball. The winning pair earns the match point.
Best ball match
1 pointEach player plays their own ball; the better score from each side counts on every hole.
Head-to-head matches
2 points availableTwo individual matchups run at once, with 1 point available in each player matchup.
Ties are worth 0.5 point. The side with the most total points wins the team championship.
